Bosnian defender Toni Sunjic has joined Henan Jianye on loan from fellow Chinese Super League (CSL) side Beijing Guoan.
ZHENGZHOU, China, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- Bosnian defender Toni Sunjic has joined Henan Jianye on loan from fellow Chinese Super League (CSL) side Beijing Guoan, the clubs confirmed on Thursday.
31-year-old Sunjic, who stands 1.94m tall, has played for many clubs across Europe, including VfB Stuttgart, S.S.D. Palermo and FC Dynamo Moscow. He also represented his country in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Beijing Guoan announced Sunjic's arrival from Dynamo Moscow on Wednesday before immediately confirming his loan to Henan Jianye, who sit bottom of the eight-team Group A in the ongoing 2020 CSL season, with only one win and three draws after 14 matches. ■
