(251004) -- MAPUTO, Oct. 4, 2025 (Xinhua) -- This photo taken on Oct. 2, 2025 shows representatives of the five partner companies signing agreements for the Coral North Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project in Maputo, Mozambique. The Coral North Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project in Mozambique reached its Final Investment Decision (FID) on Thursday, with a signing ceremony held in the capital, Maputo.
The multi-billion-dollar project is jointly developed by Italy's Eni Group, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Mozambique's national oil company ENH, Korea Gas Corporation, and XRG, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
